What is the inspiration behind the Muted Guerrilla?

Fame and Recognition. Nothing drives the Muted Guerrilla more than knowing that with the stroke of a few keys, I can be found by millions of billions of people throughout the universe. This inspiration though is not just behind me, it is also to my left. And to my right. In fact, it is all over, much like a cloud of inspiration that is always there and from which I can draw inspiration seemingly out of thin air.

Money, too. I’m always looking to strike it rich. And, to a degree, I’d also say Power. So, to summarize, Fame and Recognition, Money, and Power… although now I’m questioning that order.

Why have there been extended periods without any new posts or updates?

There are a variety of reasons, each as unique as a snowflake. Needless to say, it is difficult to continue posting when you are imprisoned in a makeshift cell by the Romanian Mafia in Sofia for trying to undercut the local market of throw pillows. Not that I would know.

While every snowflake may be different, though, there is no snow without the cold. Likewise, there is no blogging without interest, and sometimes I just get lazy and indifferent about the whole thing.

How much money have you made off of your world-famous coin pusher video?

Not a dime. The good people at YouTube have yet to connect their advertisements to my coin pusher video, despite the fact that in the four months since being asked, by them, if I would like to participate in their program I’ve had over 8,000 more views. At this rate, I expect everyone in the world to view my coin pusher video twice before the program starts.

On the bright side though, about a month ago I was asked by someone if they could use stills of my video in a pamphlet they were making. It sounds like I’m making it up, but honest to God, they said they were making a pamphlet on how to beat coin pushers. I think the key is to work with the coin pusher not against it, but I said yes anyways… hopefully he’s not some legal genius and I just signed away my money-making rights to the video itself.

If I did though, I’ve got a Power Juicer video that recently YouTube asked me about advertising on...

so I’ve got that going for me. I signed up for it, but I’m not holding my breath waiting for them to set it up.

Whatever happened to the World of John Duffy?

Good question. Much like the Roman Empire and the Krispy Kreme business-model, the many blogs of John Duffy became too large and unsustainable to continue at the pace it was on.  I'm not a very fast typer and I only have so much to say...
